Over the last three years, the Center for Analytical Chemistry Łukasiewicz – IMN has carried out three large projects concerning the production of new certified reference materials.
The first of them was a project implemented with a special purpose grant from the Łukasiewicz Center with the acronym REFROHS. As part of this project, 13 new CRMs were created for 5 different matrices: tin, zinc, copper, aluminum and iron, with certified Cd, Cr, Pb and Hg/As content, used to analyze samples for compliance with the RoHS Directive. These CRMs are already available for sale, you can find them in our catalog.
The second project implemented was a project financed by Polish-Norwegian funds with the acronym SILREF, implemented in a consortium with the Norwegian company ELKEM. As part of this project, 9 new CRMs were created for three different silicon materials: silicon, silica fume and a magnesium ferrosilicon alloy. These CRMs will soon be included in our offer.
The third project implemented at the Analytical Chemistry Center was the LIDER project with the acronym NonFerrousCRMs. As part of this project, new CRMs were created: six for copper alloys (for analyzing copper scrap) – CCD1 – CCD6, one for zinc alloy with increased Al and Mg content (MAGNELIS) – ZO1 and one for refined lead – PR1. These CRMs will also soon be included in our offer.
All CRMs developed as part of completed projects are within the scope of accreditation of the Analytical Chemistry Center for compliance with the requirements of the ISO 17034 standard with certificate number RM 006.
